New airsoft website AirsoftBC.com

Postby Mikhail » Tue May 03, 2011 3:41 pm

Hi Folks,

Just wanted to throw up a mention of a new website for the BC, Canada area. It got started last year, and has finally found a direction and some content.

Right now its just a wee baby, so is mostly filled with the stuff I am doing, and airsoft activity of players in the interior of BC. Its turning into a nice place to dump all my project and research results. The project getting the most interest seems to be the 100' Tower Bunker project.

Check it out. Comments and other contributions are welcome.

Its based on a google hosting site, so just login with a free google account to be able to contribute.

very cool! I've met some guys that played up in Canada, and it sounded like an absolute blast.

Random question, by the way. I know you guys up there in the great white North have to have a clear/semi-clear reciever on your gun for purchase and shipping, but what about once it's in your possession? Can you just paint it to look like any other AEG?
"Why do you need a GUN?!"
"To poke holes in things too far away to get with the stick."

thanks for the comments, guys.

I would love to come back down. I have an event to run in 2 weeks, and still hoping to sneak away for lords 3.

Clear receivers and such was only required for importation 2 years ago. The rules have changed. Check out the 'Importing into Canada' document under research on airsoftbc.com. It points out the memo at border services that changed everything. Word about that is getting out veeeerrrrrry sloooooowly.

We just still HAVE wacks of clearsoft. Paint it, replace it, whatever.

Possession is a non issue. Just don't whip them out in a public forum (duh) otherwise the authorities will treat it like real firearms... and shoot yer a$$!
(thumbs up)

I will definitely look up Summer Slaughter 2!
