Damn. If it's in late September, I can't make it.

I am in. Just needing cost and a date. The aluminum plant looked the best, but the other location looks promising too.

If Ft. Worden is chosen would it definitely get pushed to November?

Curious because I'll be 18 in October, would make it a lot easier to attend.

Yeah we need to wait until October when the rain is good and flowing, plus I should be 42 by then

hah, was just a question based on him mentioning there was a chance it would get pushed til November.

It's Oregon, little rain doesn't hurt. Some of the best games I've been to have been in dumping rain, keeps the coach-softers at home.

We are shooting for the last weekend of September, since OP: Irene is the second weekend of October. The fall back date for TWII is Oct 4-6.

They officially announced the date on Facebook. Sept 27-29. I can't make it because I'll be traveling.

Best of luck with this one, Gabe. May it be bigger and better than the last!

I want to go, but there are too many unforeseen future things to be sure. How late do they let you register? Is there a maximum amount of players allowed for this?

I want to go, but with all the negative reviews of the last one, and the potentially high cost associated with simply a name of the hosting company, I'm gonna pass.

Thanks Matt, at least I have a bit more perspective this go-around.

I think you nailed it right there. I want to go but I am gonna have to request a few days off and I am going to make sure it is damn worth it if I am going

I would like to see a entry cost as well, maybe a synopsis of the event, and more event specifics. The location is going to be really good, and you have it slated for 3 days which kind of makes the rumored cost worth while...but im going to have to take time off work for it, so would be really nice to see a little more organization on the logistics for the player's.

Nicely said welshy.. Im still in the air for this one since Tradewinds 1 was just So So.. Being that I did attend Tradewinds 1 with the AP squad (1-3)and had fun with the guys. The game has to be way more structured then Tradewinds 1. I will not pay +200$ to run around in a complete cluster shazaam on missions that did or did not get set up properly or at all. The OA will need to be use to its full potential and not one main focal point. Ie Camp Relia Mount Facility the entire time.. If the third party is involved they need to be all on the same page, know the rules and objectives for the third party.. You will never get away from the people who just want trigger time..But that is where I think it's the Staff and the Team leaders to take control of their troops, get on the same page and move forces as intended. Its all about good structure and gameplay missions, and having fall back plans/missions to keep the flow of the game moving and not getting stale or one sided, Throw in some curve balls to keep shit fresh.... But its always easier to say then it actually happening..
