New AK Line from G&G

Postby Matt » Fri Jul 12, 2013 9:27 am

G&G dropped a line to let us know about their new AKs. They just released a new GK74 Carbine, GKMS Carbine and GKMS. A few key features; metal and real wood construction, lipo battery storage in the hand-guard compartment, ships with 450 round hicap with a steel reinforced mag catch, 6.03mm inner barrel, and 8mm bearings. Rated for 11.1v lipo out of the box.

Interesting choice since stick-style batteries that fit under the dust cover/receiver are so commonplace these days.

I saw this on GI a while ago, and I like the idea. Solid-looking pin connectors, probably helps battery rattle and handguard wobble at the same time!

I hope this means they still have the awesome replica bolts.

I know this is a necro, however I recently found out that the hand guard IS the battery, I believe it comes with two.

Thank you,
