Can anyone name that rig he's rocking? Or maybe one that looks similar?
I'm looking to do an impression of this fellow.

I can't speak to whether they were Marines or not, but they were all over Zihuatango (yes, Mexico), either in these vehicles or in full sized trucks.

It had no mounted gun. I also was frustrated to not be able to figure out what their main weapons were. You can see the one the guy in the back is carrying. I was amused to see, though, that all the stocks and mags had orange paint lettering specifying what I assume was armory numbers.

Mexicans love their Galil ACE rifles.

Needs moar pics. He's holding his rifle in a way that makes it kinda impossible to tell what rig he has.

Dang, I have no more of this particular guy.

How about these? Can anyone identify any of the rigs on these guys?

I think it's time to go back in time, back when woodland was cool and the best body armor you could get was PASGT. Back to Bosnia we go! To where US and Russian soldiers worked side by side!

Image

To where the AN/PAQ-4 had the most awesome mounting bracket ever!

And one more woodland pic, for good measure

I have one of those old PASGT vests, along with the load bearing vest. My pops and I fired a couple of Forty-four rounds into the chest and back of it, though neither of the rounds went through.

Have to say, it's a pretty nifty set of armor and the LBV is still great for my Sniper setup.

EDIT: Waaaaaiiiiit a second....those LBV's are different. They don't have the forward-facing slanted pockets, or the supportive mesh. Guess my Gear's either a little newer, or just not super-accurate.
