Hi BB Warfighters, the day has finally arrived: AirsoftPacific.com needs an update. It runs on an old, highly customized version of phpBB and an unsupported version of PHP, which the hosting service no longer allows because of security vulnerabilities.

AP launched in 2001, five years before Facebook became publicly available, and quickly became a popular place for Airsoft communication and information sharing. At the time, it was also the only easy way for fields and event hosts to share event details.

As more social media platforms emerged, forum activity declined sharply. Even so, we continued supporting events, hosts, and stores, and we want to carry on that tradition as we update AirsoftPacific.com to modern standards.

Plans for the new AP.com include:

Responsive design: Easier viewing on phones and tablets

No forums: Other platforms now fill that role

Calendar: More events, with direct links to event details

Promotion: Greater visibility for fields, hosts, stores, and other supporters

Buy-Sell-Trade: A feature that is difficult or impossible to support on many social platforms

Because we’re rebuilding the site from the ground up, the process will take time. We’ll continue using the Airsoft Pacific and Phantom Fury Facebook pages to promote events and share information, so make sure you’re following us.
