Rosters Updated...

Make sure to print out maps and objectives. I will not be providing them, so make sure you come prepared.

Going to be warm tomorrow, make sure to hydrate now and bring plenty of water with you tomorrow and drink it throughout the day.

Sunday it's supposed to rain, not sure what time of the day but I would suggest you pack up camp and/or move your vehicles to the grassy area to avoid any soil/muddy ground issues with your vehicles.

We will be camping in the orchards opposite of where we normally camp (we need to keep the noise away from the house). If you are just playing for Saturday only, we ask that you park in the gravel parking lot.

Communications with me are dark now. Meaning I most likely will not respond to last minute emails or private messages. I need the last of my time before the event uninterrupted to spend with my family before the weekend and finish any last minute details.

and REMEMBER the field does not open until 8:00AM Saturday, so do your best to show up no earlier than.

Also please try to bring exact change or smaller bills than $20's. I have change but I want to make sure we don't run out.

Will be a fun laid back weekend. See you guys there.

Change of plans. We are camping in the orchards next to the grassy parking area. Owner changed his mind. See ya in the morning.

Awesome game! I had fun even if the SDC/Guerrilla team was not organized at all! the only problem i had this entire game was that halfway through, smoke grenades got banned completely due to some guys throwing homemade ones that caused fires. I'm hopeful that in future games we will still be able to use safe smokes... but it was pretty bad having to stop the fight to stomp out a fire every time one got thrown.

Good game yesterday. I hope that I didn't let the red team down with my Command style. A game like this benefits from a more hands off approach. Glad we could hold them off in the first round and complete the objectives for the second round in 30 minutes.

I lost a couple things out there over the weekend, my car keys and a 1911 co2 pistol mag. The operation was awesome though, had a great time, got a lot of game time in and I had a spare car key so I didn't get stranded.
Thanks riddick for setting up a great weekend!
at first I thought shooting people with BB guns was violent, cruel, and demeening to the loser.
I later found out that it is all of that and much more.

My guys and I had a great time! The first game was kind of a sh*t show for us because of gun problems. The second game was awesome but too short. The night game was good. The real fun was on Sunday. I have nothing but good things to say about everyone who stuck it out and played the second day.
On Saturday there were a lot of n00bs and less experienced players, and it seemed like most of the more experienced 1337 crowd didn't want to make the effort. I have to say that the game is what you make it. I saw a lot of people who spent a lot of money on tacti-cool kits just standing around during firefights and not really contributing to the overall gameplay, but hey, at least they looked cool. N00bs are new and don't know all the tactics and rules and gameplay mechanics. On Sunday, I discovered that some motivated n00bs with some simple directions can kick a$$ just as much as some of the "better", more established teams and players. I say that it is up to us, the more experienced guys, to take them under our wings and help them to be better players.
Rick, great game! Looking forward to the next one!

1st half played on your side / 2nd half he switched.

He is referring to his experience on the SDF/GF team

I have it. It was hanging from a pole by the new barn where my truck was parked.

I will be at Summer Slaughter 4 if you want to pick it up then. Otherwise PM me and we can work out another arrangement.

We were on your team. We switched on Sunday to try to even the odds. Which we did. Sunday was awesome!

Are your comments directed at one side or another? I felt like the Red side did a good job of folding in the single players into the other established groups and did really well...

I can't speak for the other side as I wasn't there for them, but I tried my best to get the single players with groups who I knew could get stuff done.

I felt like most of the n00bs were on the SDF/GF team. I think that's why we rolled them so easily in the second game. I wasn't trying to comment on the leadership. I was trying to comment on the sportsmanship, or in some cases lack-there-of. During the first game, after the other team's initial push, we were engaging targets on the edge of the town across the gully (Right after the smoke-bomb fire). I turned around and there were at least a dozen adult players in full kit standing and joking and laughing about who knows what. I took my squad to another area and one of said players asked us where we were going (like we were in the wrong for leaving) and I replied that there were plenty of guys to take our spot, but they were just standing there. I was told that was typical for "them". Now, I don't know who "they" were (other than they were in woodland MARPAT and all in full kit), but if they wanna stand around and not play then they shouldn't even show up. No matter how 1337 or tacti-cool they think they are. They should be there to play. That is why we were there and we had a great time. I saw other instances of bad attitudes and/or conduct, but they were mostly normal airsoft things i.e. confusion, friendly fire, hacking. A lot of that came from n00bs and was sporadic. I just think if the 1337 players don't wanna get into the game because they are playing with/against n00bs, then they should either not show up or change their attitudes. Aren't we supposed to be encouraging new players and not just standing around or being douches? Sorry if that was a little bit of a rant...
