Thank you for putting on a great game Riddick!
I only stayed for the first day, but i have to say that it was one of the best events i have been to! Hotel squad did our job to the best of our abilities, and the game one of the most organized i have ever been to.
On a side note, thank you whoever it was for giving me the pleasure of assassinating the arms dealer 8)

Yes you guys did your job. You were assigned to an area that did not have as much action, but plenty of leakers came around , and you folks didthe job quite nicely. Thank you for that, you filled a vital role, though not as exciting as at the point. As far as the arms dealer hit, Like I said.....ID yourself at your own risk :D

Individual shout outs. To the guy with capt . (whomever) in white stencil on the helmet. Sir you level of enthusiasm and commitment was noticed. You raced to and from respawn, even late in the game! Such is the stuff that great leaders are made of, well done!

DJ, sir CAPT. Baker here, it was a great joy to serve with you and I look forward to doing it again. Thanks

USRF,

Was a pleasure to be your commander. We performed well and our motivation and cohesion was strong. I heard we got quite a few kills and the overall battle was strong on both sides. Thanks for giving me that opportunity to lead you and trusting my judgement.

To those who attended the awards ceremony, I hope you enjoyed it! To the winners of those awards, congrats once again and thanks for kicking a$$ for our team.

DJ & Mehdi, great work gentleman. You performed very well and it was an overall good battle.

Thanks Riddick for hosting the game and trusting me with a CO position. I know as an event coordinator it's very important for you to select people you feel have good judgement who are responsible. I equally appreciate your willingness to help our team's morale by making intermission adjustments.

Salute everyone who attended Lords Of War - 5. For those who signed up and no show'd, you really missed out guys. Happy Fathers Day all.

Sure the spawn switch for phase two was annoying, and gave the USRF a pretty substantial advantage due to its central location, but hey, it is a game, and it really isn't fun for anyone to get completely destroyed.

To that end, great job Rick. I had a blast, and didn't hear rampant "Mehdi is hacking" meaning that USRF must have been having fun too! ;)
Mehdi is teh haxxors...... My favorite part was ambushing those 3 guys in the far back orchards in the last 30 seconds of the game :)

Thanks Riddick for a fun event.

Thanks Callahan for your command, it was a pleasure serving under you.

Thanks DJ for the opposition and the Phase I whoopin'. My team seemed to do better in Phase II, but I don't have any idea how the other teams did.

Thanks to the Admins for standing watch while really wanting to get into the fight.

As a first timer, I had a great time in a "big war" with my boys.

There are always losers and winners, but I think the losers were the guys who wouldn't take their hits and safety kills, cheated on respawning and who short-cut the starting areas.

To the winners of both USRF and Mehdi it was great fun with hard fought battles.

I hope the guy who had his face mask shattered is ok and that there weren't any other injuries.

Thanks again everyone and I look forward to more events.

Thanks Rick for a great game. Thanks DJ and Callahan for getting us around for fire support! We wanted to shoot more bb's! Hope it brought some more realism to the battle.

What a great time for my first time out this way. Thanks Callahan for leading. Tough job but you did great.

Thanks rick for putting on a great game.

The Admins were the best. always watching everyone and where they needed to be. I think it helped the play a lot.

And to lum dog it was the greatest fun for me and Cameron to roll with you during the night game and the next day. What a blast. Hope we can make it out again some time soon to do it again!

Now time to recover this old body. sore and can barely move and my knees are so swollen. but would not want it any other way! ;-)

Cheers!

To the youngster on Sunday who lit up the admin who started yelling at you--sorry about that. You get shot as an admin, and I expect to get shot, but that one was at an unexpected time and went right in the ear. I apologize for yelling at you. To the random guy with a camera who told me to relax and that the youngster had apologized--thank you. That's all I needed to realize I was being dumb. It. Just. Hurt. Speaking of hurting--oh, man, I'm a tired ogre today.

I was impressed with the level of play on both sides. I saw very little hacking.

What I did see a lot of, though, was dead guys talking. We all should watch that more.

Good games, AP--oh, and players--be more aggressive! Sunday was awesome--you all were pushing and moving like crazy. Saturday, everybody seemed a bit timid often.

Hey Riddick

Thanks a ton for putting this together. A few thoughts below...

Pros
- I think just about everyone called their hits...great job. It was much more enjoyable on that level.
- I was very happy to see admins almost everywhere...it made the game feel much more organized and controlled.
- Callahan, good job on pulling the USRF together after the initial mess with the maps.

Cons
- USRF respawn Phase 1 was terrible. It was too far away considering the terrain. If it had been a straight shot it would have been fine, but we had to walk up and down two hills to get there. The second spot was better, but I felt a little close.
- The map was not quite correct on the Log Forts and this is why the Mehdi started with such a huge advantage. I feel you should really allow reconing of the field before the game.
- There were a few cases of respawning forward of the correct respawn and some guys started WAY before game on was called in Phase 2.
- No Prepay, I think you should absolutely have prepay...

Good job to everyone and good job Mehdi for winning... :) My team had a great time fighting you all and keeping you from getting across the creek in Phase 1 (Yes, some of you made it, but not for long) :) FYI there were only about 11 of us and a few others who filtered in and out.

Nobody started early. I don't know why some of the USRF players are saying this. The Mehdi commander goofed and told his guys to go but quickly retracted and had them reset. Admins made sure everyone was holding in the correct place and confirmed via radio. Then when it was ready game on was called and everyone went. I was by the road by the arms dealer and nobody came over the hill until about 20 to 30 seconds after game on was called.

I did not see a single player respawn forward of his respawn area. I ran ccp during phase 2 and everytime I saw people walking back all the way to respawn. Phase 1 I don't know about but if they were to cheat I would think it would be the other way around since by phase 2 people would be tired.

The almost 2:1 odds is what hurt you guys the most due to drop outs and flakes. Not the hard respawn, not the log fort placement being off a little on the map.

To permanently fix the map issues I am going to gps all the spots before summer slaughter and then mark them on google earth so this way everyone will know exactly where they are.

Whoever starts on the south side of the village will always have the high ground advantage due to the terrain of the field -which we cannot control-. There isn't a good respawn area NE of where your base was. At all times the mehdi would have the high ground but they should. They controlled the area as you guys were the attackers in this case per the storyline.
