Most of the state camp grounds are closed for the season. Also, I can't think of any campgrounds that are in reasonable distance from Salem, most are 40 to 60 minutes away. Hotel 8? There use to be a koa site in salem. http://koa.com/Mikhail wrote:After a bit of research and finding nothing nearby but RV sites, I ask 'Does anyone know of any good campground nearby?' Showers would be nice. The site shows we can setup on Saturday and stay overnight till Sunday. What about Sunday-Monday? Depending how wiped I am after the game and based on the distance I am traveling home, I would probably put off the trip till Monday morning. So In a way a nearby campsite for a 2 day stay might be a better fit for me.
Can anyone here recommend a reasonably close campsite for a 2 day tent stay over?
