Voting no on that APC. When I saw it at Grid 18.2 it took me out of the moment completely.

Ollie.....not sure what you mean.....For what it is worth we intentionally kept it under wraps as long as possible for the suprise factor. If it caught you off guard, then we accomplished our objective.

Not to get off topic......but I have to tell you that was a hoot. When I had a gunner, we had two SAWs in the APC and it was a hose-fest ( not to be confused with O' fest) at the village...... we took it and lost it many times.

no, you misunderstand

it looks terrible and destroyed any realism that the boy had the moment he saw it. its nice that you built a APC chassis around your 4x4, i just think its a good first attempt, not something that should make repeat visits. you do your thing, what ever rock your boat, but its just one more thing that makes me NOT want to attend

Agreed. You get completely immersed in the experience, only to find out that an ATV with plywood armor is 'bulletproof'. Not Milsim to me, sorry guys.

It looks like OpFor are the insurgents and extreme Jihadists, everything else is USFor. And this was just posted this week so we don't have objectives yet.

THis event sounds great. I would like to put my team down for one of the SF teams. We will be in full Multicam and we are all military so please apply the discount. We are coming from Tacoma, WA.

What else do you need from me to get us locked into our roles?

And if Craig is smart (and I think he is), you won't. At least, not in the general area. So, Slaughterbal, pick a role that you think will be fun and do it. Want to spend the day working a protection detail? Go MSG. Want to spend the day doing special operations? Go special forces. Want to be a groundpounder? Go with the bulk of the US forces: infantry.
