I didn't get to see much of anything beyond blackberry bushes and waist deep rivers.

i just got done reading all the new posts.

i really had a good time getting dan outta harms way. NATO kicked a$$ getting behind us and basically half way up our asses before we got back on track. we were all confused about the whole re-spawn thing, i wasnt hit but everyone who was was standing around and to my knowledge didnt shoot any one. i was the one who started firing, i had to change mags so it took a second for me to get out there again, but if you were shot by a newly re-spawned person, my mistake. i was pushed into a leadership type position and helped dan with moving folks out and keeping track of the kill count. i have to say that SOTA was very honorable in calling their hits, i got a few of you and i respect that you walked all that way got shot, then did it again, and aagin. same to all NATO folks who pushed us to our front door. i am a P.L.A member and i apologize whole heartedly!!! i am so sorry it happened at such a great field and such a great game. KARMA, i understand how you feel and i respect your opinion, i have talked to you in person a few times and have had zero issues with you thus far, i would just ask that we all put this behind us and let us P.L.A folks take care of the aftermath. but like i said i respect all the opinions previously stated. that having been said, i thank you all for coming out and i commend everyone who gave the weather the finger and kept flinging the plastic! big kudos to SOTA,APST,MITHRIL,and the rest of my P.L.A brethren who helped make it a game for the NATO folks. i hope everyone had as good of a game as i did!

No problems at all with people calling their hits on the Axis side, which says a lot because it's sometimes hard to differentiate between a shot and a raindrop in weather like yesterday's.

Great game! Very few complaints and a whole lot of fun. I can't wait for the next at Snipersden. Hopefully in better weather. I also like the 1/2 drive home.

I had an awesome time, especially with PSC in the beginning, you guys rock! The rain wasn't that bad, I thought it made it more realistic. The mortars were a frustratingly fun challenge to deal with. The best part by far however, was when around 5 of us captured two Axis CCP's in about 15min. at the end.

I had no problems with sportsmanship, which was a nice surprise. Axis and NATO played very classy. That makes games so much better.

Thank you BSP, for an excellent game on a very fun field.

When you opened up on me, you weren't shooting very close to me, but since I didn't know where you were firing from, I decided it was time to reposition.

I lost sight of Jester, and thought I was in the clear, and stupidly left myself in the open while giving Android a heads up about what was going on.

That shot was spot on center mass. Well played.

As far as the respawns that sort of thing needs to be made clear. especially alternate respawn points when a primary point is located at an objective.

I'm still unclear as to whether you had to go through a CCP point before going back to base to respawn, or if you had to wait at the CCP for a pickup to be taken back to base.

As far as the objective locations. I think for future games, it may be a good idea to have a safety/rules briefing everyone, and a separate briefing for each command staff which would involve walking their side of the field to get a chance to see where their assets are located so they can figure out how and where to set up defensive positions.

The Axis comm array was in a very strange spot. We had to fight past enemy forces in order to be able to get to a position where we could set it up. On the other hand, the position was very defensible and Allies were not able to get to it despite us never having more than 5 people available to defend it.

I briefed that. I should have made it more clear, but I was also talking to a couple hundred crazed killing machines.

It was either way, walk back...or get a ride as a service!

Also, guys....let's not focus on the PLA stuff that was outside the game....It'll get sorted out. PLA is stand up.

I saw a lot of great sportsmanship and almost no complaining. Although we had our hitches on our side of the zebra ball....It was a pleasure watching you all shoot the hell out of each other! (specifically in the trenches and the final assault....epic)

Thank you all again.

Besides all the other issues I have a big issue with those that helped themselves to my beverages in the blue cooler by the admin station. Thanks for helping yourselves to it while the raffle took place.

BTW pictures are up here: http://s620.photobucket.com/albums/tt28 ... upply/CE4/

Not fred quality and not a ton of them taken but hey I was driving half of the time.

You showed true sportsmanship, even when I almost slipped up when I was coming down the hill. Thank you for not taking my head as it should have been. As for me I'm on a 2 week airsoft vacation. Somewhere warm with little tropical drinks with umbrella's. In my nice comfy chair at home. If I don't the wife will dis own me.

Thanks. Good thing you caught yourself before talking.
As for the vacation sounds horrible hope you make it through the withdraw. ;)

Mini-Marine wrote:I would like to know why the hell the goat head, and feet where brought to the campsite in the first place.
It had been made clear before that the goat could be cooked on site, but anything else needed to be done elsewhere.

The goat was bought from my family. It was killed at my house. The organs were buried here. The legs were still attached to the body when it left. The head was not, but I was sure someone wanted to keep it for some reason or another.

As I understood it we needed to kill the goat at my house, but anything else could be done at the field (butchering, killing).

We lost a lot of people at the end due to injury, gun failure, pussing out.
I not surprised you guys pushed up at the end.

To BSP: Normally when admins try to help out on side or another it makes the game worse, however as I saw in this game it was done very well with bonus mortar strikes and "helo drops".

OK thats what I had thought, but after reading some of the posts on here I suspected that I might have understood it wrong. It appears that I had been correct.

As far as the CCPs, It seems that ours were places in such a way, that it would be pretty much on the way back to our spawn point anyway, but NATO ones were sort of out of the way...Not knowing exactly where the NATO spawn point was, I could be wrong about this, but just looking at the map it sort of looks that way.

I was supposed to take you up the hill to ease the pain of lugging up it however due to safety we decided to stop short of the hill since the roads were getting really slick. there wasnt much we could offer in ways of adjustment given the terrain of the area you were in.

Crossing the river 3 times was quite interesting. Ambushing them at their CP was also quite entertaining. Thank you modified SF team for letting me join in in the shenanigans.

That was me Jester. Running with you guys was just awesome. I think that those 2 hours were the best I've had at a game. Crossing the river three times and falling in twice wasn't as fun but I'll live.

Karma, It was a pleasure to be under your command. Sneaking around to the Axis CP was just epic. If you every need an extra guy to go anywhere, through anything, come find me. Im more then willing to hop on with ya.

BSP, all thought its been said before, the whole re-spawn thing need a bit of work. CCP's being ONLY CCP"S not re-spawn areas. And making the CP JUST the CP not a re-spawn area too. That whole shenanigans of re-spawning a the CP was not cool after we cleared them all out. Other then that, it was a kick a$$ game that I can't wait for the next installment.

There wasnt to much that got left behind, most of it i heard was redds stuff, and the goat from what moshpit was saying. I love the field, But it is wrong to BAN PLA from ths field. It was cold, and wet, getting sark, and everyone wanted to get go. shit happens, the goat is bio degradable, and the rest was redds stuff. let the banning be at a personal level, not a team level.

I think this is fair punishment. Last summer, at ABT, my team got ridiculed for just having trash at our camp site. Even though when we left the camp site was spotless, but we still got crap from tons of people saying stuff about team responsibility and how If one person does it, then its the teams responsibility. Now you are complaining that is was dark and cold. I was completely soaked after CE:4 and I still managed to leave my camp site spotless.

So you guys are banned from ABT now?
