Roster updated, Marine Raiders were moved to a regular slot instead of a late slot, and Alpine Kommandos moved into the UDT Seals Team slot that was freed up.

Just a reminder:

ADMISSION FEE: $35 prepay or $45 after January 1st (Paypal payments@airsoftpacific.com)

January 1st is coming fast. Please get your entry fees together and make payments as soon as possible, this helps us plan and also helps the facility because we can pay them in advance.

Prepaying as a team is fine, just make sure to include the names of each person you're paying for in the description. (AP forum names are fine too, as long as we have a way of knowing who they are when we sign them in)

We tested out the training distraction devices today at Strikezone and we were very impressed! Please view the following video for instruction on use of the device and to see a demonstration of it:

That was a specific circumstance. We also waited 20 seconds plus before I even considered handling the device. That was way outside the operational time from our our initial testing.

There is a very clear hiss when the cartridge has been punctured. I also never placed the burst cap toward my face...that would have been a mistake. :]

The cook-off time is normally around 8 seconds. It could be a little faster, thus sticking with the 3-5 second rule should give you a bounce and pop.

CQC5 IS IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS!
Get your shit together, schedule those last-minute practice sessions. Get ready to rock, because if you're not prepared, you're going down! A number of awesome raffle prizes are on the way, the raffle banquet has been booked, the props and actors are coming together... This is gonna rock!

Important things to remember about this competition:

- When you show up, it's on. Aside from registering you (payment and waiver), you are LIVE when you get to the field. You'll be entering the building from outside. Have gear ready to slap on, and mags loaded! Show up at the scene as if you were called up.

- Complete the mission to the full extent. There's no stopping unless you run out of time, completion of the mission will be based how you pay attention to details and police up your scene. This means you're concerned about: detained perps and victims, your own fallen team members, weapons and hazards left at the scene. Dangerous mistakes ALWAYS cost points!

AWARDS BANQUET
We're going back to the Old Spaghetti Factory, as with CQC3. They treated us well then and they have all the room we need. All raffle prizes, awards and recognition will be given out at the banquet. For those new to this system, if you're ordering food, you pay (it's not a catered event). We do ask that teams order TOGETHER on the same ticket to help ease the process so we're not trying to run 150 individual tickets. All actors are invited, and all event attendees.

When: January 14, 7PM to 10PM
Where:
The Old Spaghetti Factory
12725 SE 93rd Ave
Clackamas, OR 97015
