Resume’ Summaries

Postby Eyes On » Tue Mar 01, 2005 1:51 pm

I'm thinking of running at least one public training event per month. I am looking for instructors for all sorts of subjects. Are you interested in participating as an instructor? Post a summary of your qualifications here.

My credentials:

Sergeant (E-5), held all billets from Rifleman to Platoon Sergeant.
Primary USMC MOS's 0311, 0331.
B Billet USMC MOS's 8541, 8654, 8154
Schooled MOS's not carried: 2111, 0861, Scout Swimmer.

HDPS/CCSD (Michigan): Warrants and Parole/Probation, Alternate Designated Marksman.

If your resume doesn't look like this, it doesn't mean you're not qualified. If you have any doubts about your qualifications, PM them to me. Please include the subjects that you would be qualified and interested in teaching in your summary or your PM.

Oh yeah, and a bunch of actual Military Schools that I attended.

Edited by the evil forum mod.

Let's try that again, with actual schools and less cynicism.

Some people have mentioned I should post my military service background here. Although I don't feel my service time was sufficient enough to really amount to much, there might be some use of my skills where AP is concerned. If not, at least it might make a few people aware of my background and desire for reenlistment.

US Army

MAR 96 - DEC 97, Oregon Army National Guard (ORARNG)

Enlisted as 11B, served as Rifleman, Grenadier, and Automatic Rifleman. Trained as part of Scout platoon at times, and slated for Sniper course. Unable to attend official Sniper certification due to enlistment for Active Duty.

JAN 98 - JUL 99, US Army Active Duty

MOS changed to 13B, attended training at Ft. Sill, OK. Orders to remain at post, served as Driver/Gunner for M109A6 Paladin 155mm SP Howitzer. During Red Phase I worked with DOIM, assisting post setup and installation of computers and network systems. Also served as Training NCO at BCT/AIT/OSUT Battalion for about 9 months. Due to under-staffing at the time, was also placed as an assistant Platoon Sergeant for the unit. Other tasks included unit assistant armorer, Command Staff driver, and Post Media Specialist (Production Crew).

I was injured while leading a cycle of recruits on a 10km road march, was scheduled to attend secondary MOS training at Ft. Stewart. Unable to attend due to medical discharge. Currently classified as Special Disabled Veteran, 30% disability. Have been trying to reenlist since about JAN 01.

I also attended the CLS course, and served as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT-I for the Ft. Sill Fire Dept (Civilian). Some of the courses I covered were BRM, Hand Grenade, US Weapons, COC/CCC, .50-cal M2, and SP Artillery 155mm (M109A3/A5/A6).

I plan to reenlist back into the Infantry. Field Artillery can lick my b*lls.

Reason for my medical discharge instead of reclass is a bit personal, I don't mind answering questions about it as long as it's via PM.
Infantry all the way!

I have NO military training, but I was one of Nevada's finest. I feel kinda silly even voicing in this crowd, but diversity is the key to victory. I'd be happy to offer any information, advice, training, that you feel would be applicable.
I worked for 5 years in one of Nevada's toughest prisons. I have walked the walk and talked the talk. My scope is narrow, but if you need to know about draggin' yer knuckles, look no further.

Pacific Security Training Academy, VIP Protection Program. 1996
P.O.S.T. Level II (Nevada) 1997

hi,

i like knuckles have never served, so my capacity for instructuion in these areas is very limited , if not no-existant at all. but i do belive i have valuable information to impart in other areas. i have alot of martial arts experience, and i do belive althought we do not engauge in hand 2 hand combat, that there is a level of body movement theat can be gleened from various martial arts styles that can greatly increase ones effectiveness in movment. footwork is what i am talking about here.

10 yrs + of sword training
2 years with the dallas Ft. worth kendo and iaido kyokai
1.5 years with the chuo dojo in los angeles ( kendo and iai )
8.5 years of shinkendo and aikibujutsu training @ the honbu dojo under the direct supervision of Obata toshishiro kaiso.
9 years as a sushi chef

as you can see i have done extensive blade work over my lifetime. looking forward to seeing some classes. i could really use some practical training in areas i am feeling need a lil touch up. i am really hoping that casca will reinstate his scout/sniper course. this is my contribution to the community, to impart any knowledge that i can to better our milsim experiences, and make games just more fun to enjoy. thx all.

KA-BAR out
I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.
