FPS Limits

Postby Deliverator » Tue Apr 18, 2006 10:41 am

Well, a lot of stock guns come with just over 300FPS including the m4 that I want to pick up from ICS which bases at 330FPS... I was wondering if you guys knew of a way to lower the FPS to fit your limits or would you guys make exceptions for stock guns? Really don't feel like going to a CQC game with my pistol and my tool you know what I mean?

Uhm, I don't think that fits on ICS... ICS flash hiders don't correspond with TM... and you don't have to be a complete jackass about it.

I dont have to be a complete jackass - but I choose to be one :-D

Plus - it is hideously easy to change springs on a ICS M4, so if a velocity reducer wont work - then your best bet, is to change springs.

Its like this "Oh, I bought a classic gas rifle thats running 450fps . . . . . but I dont want to make it work at the right FPS levels, so who wants to make an exception for me?"

I submit that you're the jackass.

not to mention that TM flashhiders DO work for ICS guns, as I have my M733's flash hider on my ICS M4 right now, cause I didn't want to strip the orange paint off the one that came with it.

Alex don't you just hate the people that are retarded and don't know how to hit a F**king search button? I know i do, and well Deliverator you can change springs or put a fps reducer on you gun. On top of that when you spring on your gun relaxes a bit it will lower and 300-330 fps isnt that high (or at least in my opinion) so you don't really need to lower it. Just me though. And if the things don't work on your ICS gun, well save up and get a TM model of it or a CA, somthing that is compatable if it really means that much to you. And I know CA makes a CQB M15A4. So there you go.

Answer this in yes or no format:

Are you on the CQC-4 Event Planning Staff?

If the answer is Yes, then go on with your bad self.
If the answer is No, then maybe you ought to shut the shazaam up and let the event staff decide what is allowable and what isn't.

This goes for everyone else too: If you are not on the event planning staff, then don't even offer an opinion of what you 'think' the rule should be. Stupidity on the internet sticks better than super glue, and when people speculate or offer some uninformed opinion on something like this, others tend to take it as gospel.

Not figting against you or your authority here just want to point out that these words are included in here, not suggesting that you guys should change anything or rules or even listen to me at all for that matter, just saying that it was----> (or at least in my opinion)..... Just me though.

That is all I wanted to say, sorry I made you all pissed at me for saying what I thought and my opinion to him, my bad.

His question is in direct relation to the CQC competition. So when you say that "you don't really need to lower it", you are telling him that that's the standard. Get it?
