Not the Normal

Postby BIG country » Fri Mar 05, 2010 6:04 pm

Good evening gentleman! I understand this is only like my 3rd or 4th post so please bear with me. I am new to forums so I am still learing the ropes an am also new to airsoft. Please forgive me but I must admit that I have trolled this sight (8 months) for a while soaking up all the information that I could. Doing hours of research about rifle's and the like.
Anyway to get to the point! I have been looking into the King Arms sig 552 and their galil for something diffrent on the field. Well I saw the sexiest thing. A H&k416! and to my eyes I cant find one anywhere. I would like to find one that was a metal body with decent internals. If not possible is there a kit to build one. I have searched hi and low for one. I also have a cnc machine at work that I can use to put full trades on it.

Any info on where to go (from the veteren's of airsoft). Matt, Knuckles, Mini-Marine, killbucket and the like, Sorry if your name was not on the list just a quick referance...
Thanks gentleman and have a good weekend!

AGM makes one, but good luck finding one in stock.

VFC might make one. G&G / Top Tech makes a pretty good one.

Might I suggest the TSD HK416?

They're pretty well made, and I DO own one. If you'd like me to take some pix or let you know more, feel free to PM me.

Dboys if you can find one.... If not, the TSD/SRC one would be my first choice assuming the VFC can't be bought.

I've had no personal experience with any of the 416s, but I've heard that value for money SRC is your best bet.

It really depends on how much you are looking to spend, and remember, parts can always be upgraded at a later time.

You can still find the VFC version once in awhile at WGC. External is A++, internal just not so good :(

Note for you, since you're new: TSD 416 is simply a rebranded SRC 416. They be good. If you want one, get that. Or the WE 416, if you want to be EPIC.

TSD and SRC are the same company, one side is their "sportline" models.
at least, that's the feeling their website gave me.

I had the TSD 416 for a while, very very solid gun. Have a gunsmith upgrade/repair it with you until you learn it well. Its a very reliable rifle

if you want a GBBR you can get the WE 416. It is freaking beautiful and has HK trades. but AEGs are more the commonplace so i would recommend the VFC(friend had it and the thing was amazing even with the shorty front end).

TSD is a good company better than clones but worse than high end AEGs. I am iffy on clones(Dboys etc.) so that would be my recommendation. GBBRs are amazing btw.

Not when were talking about the Gen III 416, thing is rock solid inside, beautiful internals, sexy externals. They put there best into the Gen III, which is why it costs like 400 bucks. TSD Gen III is certainly a high end AEG.

This is the TSD 416 that the people above you were talking about. I would certainly call the Gen III high end guns.
