Alternative for Plastic G36 Mags?

Postby LoneWolf808 » Sat May 08, 2010 2:03 pm

Just wondering if there are any companys that make the G36 Mags in stronger plastic then the ones ive owned before, i've dropped one and it broke and i (let the laughing begin) sat on one which also broke.

And im not sure if i got a lemon magazine or what but the little clips that hold the magazines together is also very picky and broke on my magazines.

I was thinking of going the Magpul Magazine Well conversion route to let the G36 take M4-M16 Magazines, as i have a massive amount of those.

But before blowing money on that conversion kit i would like some experenced opinions

Thanks Guys,

Well, the magwell would still be cheaper than buying another box set of mags. I've been contemplating getting the magwell myself, but I very much enjoy the ability to lock them beside each other. Just unhook them and put them in their respective pouches on the walk back to spawn or something. Easy peasy.

Man those MAGPUL look so much better than the original G35 mags.

Most tabs on G36 mags will break after moderate use, and I don't really think any brand G36 mags are better than the others streangth wise.

As for the Magpul g36 mags, hells yea!
