Ver.2 Gearbox question

So my friend has a CA scar without a gearbox, which I know takes a Ver.2. And I happen to have a Aftermath MP5 Gearbox (which I know is Ver.2) but I was wondering if it would fit in the CA SCAR body.

Yes you could, but you'd need to change the airnozzle, trigger, selector plate and wire it to be back.
