Is Umarex a quality aeg company?

Postby Blue » Mon Jun 07, 2010 7:17 pm

I was looking around the site and i found the link to the Umarex g36 http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/umarex-handk ... k-aeg.html and i was wondering what kind of quality the guns that they made were. For me personally that is everything i want in a g36 the red dot sight and scope bipod and it even comes with a clip that looks like it actually has rounds in it and as far as i know i wouldnt have to upgrade it because they claim it shoots 380 out of the box. I also know that i would have to pay 90 for shipping as well but im just asking about quality of the aeg . Any help would be apprecated

Umarex itself makes crappy guns, but the gun you linked is actually an Ares, which is still meh, but far superior to Umarex.

What are you talking about? Ares guns are fantastic, and their g36 is no exception.

Umarex does not make guns, they rebrand them like Cybergun. They are a German company that own the trademarks to H&K, Glock, Walther etc.

As with most re brands, 99% of them suck but then there are also guns like the G36 which is made by ARES or the 416 which is made by VFC that are excellent guns.

The G36 has the best externals on the market currently and their G36 is the only non E version on the market. Compared to what they have been doing with STAR their new AEG's are extremely high end. Their old G36's were great quality, even better then the CA or TM ones and their new ones don't seize to amaze.

Awesome im very happy that it is a great gun. I first saw it and i love the g36 series so i almost immediately said that is going to be my main rifle from now on lol. I had to check of course to see how well built it was it looked sweet but had to know for sure if i was going to divy up that much money i needed to know if it was going to be long lasting rifle. Sweet thanks guys
