what is wrong and how can i fix it?

Postby DanThatch » Sat Jul 03, 2010 11:37 am

Hi I have a echo 1 g36c and a little bit earlier i was firing it and it just stopped , kinda hard to explain but now it won't fire, i recharged the battery i even tried another battery but when the battery is plugged in and i pull the trigger it makes a small sound like it's halfway to firing it (if that makes sense). but when i put in the magazine a couple of bbs come out of the barrel. Hopefully that made some sense. but i want to find out whats wrong or what happened and i need to know how to fix it.

Thanks

you need to take it to an Airsmith and have it looked at.

either the gun locked itself, or the wiring is pinched somewhere. G36's aren't the most fun to take apart..

You can go to Airsoft Outlet Northwest.

There are a few other people around here (Me) that are willing to work on it as well.

PM me if you are interested.

I had that same problem fixing a friend's G36C. I spent a few hours figuring how to get the barrel assembly taken apart, then realized that there was a jam in the hopup and all that was necessary was to unjam it with the cleaning rod, so you might want to try that before you take it apart or take it to someone to fix.

Your G36 should have come with a cleaning rod. It's slightly longer than the barrel and one end is slanted. Push the slanted end down the barrel and it should unjam it if there is a jam.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with the hop up.

It's something to do with the gearbox.

Did you try adjusting the motor height?

how do you do that? this is my first aeg and i know hardly anything about the internals

Well that would make sense, he knows how to fix general problems with AEG's...

i have not done the motor height adjustment yet but i did find out there was a bb jammed which is why it felt like my rod was pushing back a spring but it still makes the same sound so when i find out how to adjust the motor height i will try that, but now the rod i'm using goes all the way back

Take it to someone.

You are most likely Stripping your gears or something. When you puch back the Tappet plat thru your barrel, it fucks up the alignment and it will cause the Piston to shazaam its AOE.

Take it to someone if you want your gun to survive your Noob spells.
