Gearbox "exploded"

Postby thefiestysoldier » Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:09 pm

So i just wanted to simply switch out a spring on my jg g36. when i tried to pop open my box it exploded and the parts landed all over the table. I know about the gears but the plastic parts on the trigger assembly came off as well as the trigger assembly. Can i get a little help here? or at least can you point me in the right direction? thanks

pappen: I have been on mechbox.com and i do agree that they have lots of useful resources however they do not have what i need.

Catch: I was looking for a tutorial that examines the trigger and that area, preferably with a v3 box

thanks anyways.

EDIT:

after some more research i have gotten this far:

The Washer?

Could you be more specific? A picture? Link a website with the same piece?

I was referring to the picture from my previous post:

These were the last few I could not get and the washer on the bottom-right is the final piece (definitely not a shim)

It is suppose to do that, to keep pressure on what ever its in between to prevent it from slipping off.

My best advice is to get on you tube and look around, iv'e only been in a G36 a few times, so I'm no pro.

That is a type of lock washer.

I don't know about the V3 gearbox, but on V2 gearboxes, I have commonly seen lock washers placed under the screws along the top of the gearbox, used to hold the two halves of the GB shell together. Example of said screws:

nailed it! (http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/lofiv ... 43274.html)

It goes around the screw that is under the stock. Thanks for all of your help.
