Best G36 Magazines?

Postby k3gn3123512 » Sun Jul 11, 2010 9:40 am

I need some good G36 Midcaps for my G36. I bought a DBOY's one but it looks sub par and it missfed the first time I shot it. Do you guys have any suggestions?

G&P 130rd middys, and STAR mids are good. Avoid, like the plague, King Arms.

Mag G36 mids are pretty good as well.

Agreed. I have several mids from Mag for my 36, and they work really well!

I've been running King Arms in my G36, M14, and M4. They always feed, good build, nothing really wrong with them.

I've heard that the KA G36 mag connectors tend to break, but I cut all mine so I can't say for sure. They felt sturdy enough when I got them.

My STAR 140rd midcaps fed well in my CA G36, but it was impossible to get bb's out of them without shooting so I had to use a G36 magwell to do it...

As far as midcaps are concerned for the g36

G&P>MAG>STAR>A&K

I have 1 G&P midcap, 4 Mag ones, 1 star, and 2 A&K. (I initially bought 1 G&P, 1 Mag and 1 star mag to test them- the A&Ks came with my used CA g36.)

The G&P mags are the best, but MAG midcaps very close quality wise (both brands feed flawlessly), the star midcap I have doesn't feed well in my CA (yes I initially lubricated it), and the A&K ones don't seat properly in my E1 or CA G36s (you can pull them out of the magwell without using the mag release) - although they do feed well.

Anyone know anything about the new ARES g36 midcaps? I just spotted them on Evike the other day.

King Arms are very good mids, I had no problems with feeding or anything. The only con is that the connectors to stack them, they feel fragile.
Please, I insist.

So will the mag mid caps work and feed well in my kwa g36c? (I only say this because apperently they built a few things differently than others. I don't mean to ask a dumb Q ;) )
