Recommendation for Classic Army P90 battery?

Postby Solid » Thu Jul 15, 2010 11:11 am

I need to pick up a new battery for my CA P90, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations from experience which battery to get. I found the one below that looks good but im not 100% if its compatable for CA's. Suggestions would be appreciated.

I had a regular 1600 mah mini battery that seemed to work fine in the p90 (ours was a sportline) . check out the fit. No use getting special batteries if you dont need to.

I have a cheapbatterypack that I got with my TM P90 and its great. I'd suggest one of those since it'll be cheaper.

If the new CA P90s are like the Echo1 ones, you should be able to use a regular 9.6 mini. I noticed the buttplate was redesigned so that it would work correctly with them.

I have switched all my guns to lipos. The 7.4 is a monster and 11.2 are ridiculous. I did this so that each battery is interchangeable in each gun. All have deans installed. Just make sure that each battery has a balancer lead and ur charger has a balancer connecter and there should be no problems.

Lipos rock, nut not all guns will handle em. Not sure re the CA P90. Going to buy another, except not the SL one. much better internals on the pro line

Should work. I'd test to make sure, just in case the CA P90 buttplate isn't built to the new specs.
