Postby Jakesonpoint13 » Thu Jul 22, 2010 2:23 pm

Im kinda new to the forum, however I did a general search and found no topics relating to this...soooo I was wondering if I were to purchase Systema internals such as a new spring, piston, metal bushing etc. would they work in my Classic Army M15a4 Sportline?

The Key to making your gun better.. is to figure out what needs to be better about your gun..

Example: How is the range? could it be better?
Upgrades for Range issues: Tight Bore Barrel, new bucking, H nub, m115 Spring (Bring it to around 400 FPS)

Another Example: Trigger response is slow.
Are you using the Stock Battery? Do you own a 9.6v? Have you considered going lipo (It is cheaper).
Have you had the gun re greased, re shimmed, and adjusted for Angle of Engagement? Is the motor height at the correct Contact level? Is the motor High Torque?

Another Example: My gun looks boring. I want cool parts to put on it to make it look cool. Go find pictures of SpEC Ops and replicate the gear... : )

Do the math first. By the time you put in expensive internals, it may be cheaper to buy a new gun. (Parts + labor)

To answer your question, yes, they should work if you purchase V2 gearbox parts. Get a tightbore inner barrel first, then work on the other internals.

Im running a 8.4v 1200mah battery and it's shooting about 295-310 and I want to increase it to about 385. I just wanted to know if I they were compatible, so thank you I now have my answer.
