Problem with a Jamming J&G G36

Postby falcom8 » Mon Jul 19, 2010 10:00 pm

I've had this gun for about a year and a half and had no problems with it. Then a few weeks ago it started jamming. The jams are really easy to fix but they happen about every 20 bbs. I've tried cleaning out and lubing the barrel, putting the hop up all the way down, and tightened all the loose screws. Any idea what could be causing all the jam and how I could fix it?

Wow......I'm stupid. That sounds like a great idea. I'm kicking myself for not thinking of that before :? Oh well, I'll try it and if it doesn't work I'll post back.

No, don't start using a different brand, he asked if you STARTED using a different brand when this started happening. If you have been using a good brand for years, and then recently switched to another brand that is lower quality it could very easily be causing your problem.

Are there any other things wrong with the gun, like is it less accurate, or produces a lot of fliers, or anything else going on, as well as it jamming?

I tried switching back the the old bran of bbs that I've usually used and it's still jamming. Nothing else is wrong with the gun. I think something might be wrong with the hop up but I have a friend that's saying his gun's jamming because something's wrong with his gears. Anyone know anything about that?

The tappet plate may be broken. Take it to a pro.
