If you go LIPO do not get a wall charger you should spend the money and get a charger that does it all lipo NiMh NiCad I bought mine of cheapbatterypack.com for $65.00 easy to use. GOOD LUCK

$65 seems like an awful lot. I'll just go with the $20 one that was posted :)

not a deans connector. just be sure to pick up another set of deans for the battery. or if you wanna get tricky make everything the weird XT60 plug

I looked into that and figured I would buy about 10 pairs of deans for like $6 or so at my local hobby shop or online. Are the XT60's worse then deans? Or are they all the same?
Sorry for all the questions, never messed around with batteries too much

XT60's are for high voltage set ups, they are VERY sturdy and create a very Secure connection. You could use them in you're AEG, but it would just be simpler and cheaper to buy a 10 pair of deans and do it your self.

The XT60's are very nice though, if you choose to go that route.

Ok thanks pickles :)

So I got most of the build done except for the battery. Everything installed fine. Ill probably run this gearbox down and just buy a drop in when it breaks. Runs off of a 9.6v in a PEQ wired to the front (too lazy to wire to back). Was contemplating changing the stock but Ares uses real steel stock so I'm not sure how i would go about putting on a replica version. Not too bad looking for a gun made of spare parts :)
Sorry for the low quality. Using a phone camera. Will post more tonight or tomorrow
