Version 2 and Version 3 Gearboxes parts compatability?

Hi, I am wondering, what parts, if any, will fit in both a V2 AND a V3 gearbox? As in, are the gears the same, springs, etc. Also, what is not compatible? I am asking because I should have a semi-broken g36c on the way, and I have a few v2 parts from a broken m4 I could try plugging in as a quick fix/test.

Bushings: Yes, if the same size

Selector Plate: No
