Postby devinedeciple » Sat Jan 15, 2011 2:30 pm

ok so i have a kraken ak-47. nothing deadly i know but i purchased a new battery online, a 8.4v 4000mAh ni-mh. it originaly had an 8.4v 1200mAh ni-cd . my question is will this increase in mAh will it strip my gears if i put it in. :?: and do i need a new charger or can i use the one that came with the aeg.

think of a battery like a car

mah = fuel tank (bigger tank, carries more fuel)
8.4v/9.6v = motor (bigger motor, more output)

i would suggest a smart charger and it's plug n play. no worrying about overcharging.

People still use NiMh batteries?
There's a difference between a person who has a screwdriver and a person who knows what they are doing.

Yea! They go great with the new Vietnam M16s Tokyo Marui just came out with.

But seriously, to the OP: What Riddick said.

No doubt.
I'll stick with what works and what has always worked.
