I use a pack like this one only difference between mine and this one is mine is 6000 MaH http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh ... duct=11914
:!:
You have a Nano-tech Lipo?!
If you do, please share your experience with them,I'm very interested in them and wonder if they are as advertised.
I have both the regular lipo and nano-tech lipo. the nano-tech does run stronger for longer and only starts to slow down right as it can't turn my aeg motor anymore unlike my other lipo where it starts out super fast then slows down after a couple thousand rounds
What do you mean by "stronger longer"? Do you have any numbers to prove you findings? I mean you need to be more descriptive than just it runs "stronger".
What MOSFET do you have?

it doesn't start to slow down until its almost dead. A regular lipo starts to slow down after a couple hundred to a thousand rounds. The nano-tech doesn't really start to slow down until my mosfet cuts the lipo off. http://unconventional-airsoft.com/webst ... cts_id=180 That's the mosfet I use

They last longer and provide more power than a NiMH.

You MUST prevent over-discharging, either with a lipo cutoff MOSFET or a lipo alarm like the ones on www.airsoftoutletnw.com

You MUST use a balance charger.

If you follow those rules, you'll love them.

Room temp, but it really doesn't matter as long as it's not too extreme. I've kept lipos in my car when it's been freezing out, and they're still fine.

If they are being discharged (used in a gun), the cells produce heat so therefor using them when it's cold helps cool off the cells.

Thanks...
Another question, which is the best way to carry extra batteries in/on your kit/person? I got the special bags, should I store them in a metal case?

I've found that just carrying them in my gear works just fine. I keep them in a utility pouch and so long as you're not getting impaled by steel spikes (in which case you have bigger issues) your battery should be fine. It won't get punctured or damaged...they are a lot more durable than people tend to give them credit for.

Exactly what I would have said.

How many shots before you start feeling the battery get warm? Is it bad if it happens quick or after lots of rounds?
