Postby TheGunTrucker » Wed Jan 26, 2011 5:27 pm

Ok so I was looking around on ehobbyasia and found a G&P SR-16 M5 Stoner Rifle (8mm Gearbox)
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/gandp-sr-16- ... rifle.html
for $135
ButI have a friend who is willing to sell me a brand new ICS ak for $160
what is the better deal?

I'd go with the G&P because G&P's are guns chiseled out of gold

I think what Patrick is getting at, is the G&P weapons tend to have a very nice build. I think I would lean that way myself, especially being able to open the packaging myself for an equivalent pricing. But that's just my .02
You said the ICS is brand new? Like never been fired or just only a minimal amount?
Either way, great guns!

Ever molested a G&P? Their externals are pretty impressive, and the more expensive lines are quite similar to real steel (i.e. SR25 etc.).. That kind of solid feel is really cool!! Not that ICS AKs feel cheap or anything

Sacred shooter said it better than me. Both guns are nice though but G&P can be expensive if ordered from a US site and have expensive shipping when ordered from an asian site

PM me if you want, I'd love to hear about the gun and your take on it.

I would also recommend against the ICS and getting the G&P. My G&P M4 is pretty solid and in the long run I think the G&P will be the better buy.
