Patience. It usually takes me about 5-6 tries before I finally get it. A small jewelers screw driver to put into the hole and stabilize it, along with a 3rd hand helps too.

Try gently bending the anti-reversal latch spring so that it isn't strong enough to pop the latch out of its socket but still does its job. (don't bend it too far).

I agree with Jester, you need a 3rd if not a fourth hand and a tool to stick through the hole where the tip of the latch sits. I used an allen wrench.

It's frustrating it took my friend and I hour and a half to get it back together because the latch keep going sideways and the spring keep shooting out.

What makes V2s so inherently complicated to reassemble?

The anti reversal latch.

And I wish I was just trolling.

Get an old disk drive magnet and put it on the backside housing, it firmly holds the anti reversal latch in place and makes reassembly simple.

Just wait until you have to put a v3 box back together with a dislocated trigger.

Been there, done that. The magnet keeps all the gears in place, I slide the trigger in after the shells are back mostly together. I've done a spring change on my G36 in about half an hour, next time I I'll time it.

Then we can have a "my change time is smaller than your than yours" thread sometime since we are dudes and have to compete on everything. Must be a misdirected mating instinct, like your going to get laid because your gun is sexier or you can change a spring faster...

Hey it could happen.
Well Limpy, I believe trolling is trying to initiate trouble right? That's not my goal. I was curious what really makes this complex, aside from the anti-reversal latch. I'd heard that before, but I dont fully understand. Maybe I should just take one apart myself. Of course, then I could never put it back together haha.
