Interesting! Thanks VogonFord, I had no idea.
I had always sort of thought, what a weird law, requiring guns to be made of plastic

Btw I am quite fond of the Marui Type 89, as people here probably already know. I think it's brilliant.

I am personally a fan of that TM SOPMOD m4 that gives some gentle recoil and has blowback. They have that whole new line as someone mentioned a little farther up, with the G36c with others coming. Never shot any of them but I'd be curious to see some torture tests.

The follower in the mag may cause the gun to stop firing as the last bb leaves the mag and the follower runs up there, but you'll never have that open bolt lockback thats found in GBBR.

I think TM is making good strides in blowback tech but for the realism factor, but I don't see an open bolt EBB comin onto the market anytime soon, if ever.

we can dream though.

those arent open bolt ebb, just lock back the faux bolt when the mag is empty. TM already has a line of those replicas.

It will be great to see the finish and feel on the KWAs though.

Now I'm gonna have to spend more money on awesome guns.
