DO NOT GET A COMBAT MACHINE.

You can get a full-metal G&P from ASGI for a little less than $230 shipped. Just be sure to use a coupon code to chop off that $25 though.

@ Icepick
my G&G combat machine works great! why not get one? I've had mine for years, and it still works great! I did put a few internal upgrades tho.

dont go though much ammo usually so maybe 1 or 2 more mags. so, say, 250.

no way any m4 i get will not be full metal.

I'm not saying combat machines are bad, but binicb2r already specified that he is looking for a metal M4.

@BBA: For the price, you can get a gun that is SO much better, otherwise I wouldn't be urging my point. (The reason to get the G&P is because the price is almost identical to that of the "Raider".)

the G&G is by far first choice.

Didn't you say you wanted a metal m4? Because the g&g combat machine line is plastic.

Otherwise those are decent choices, although I'm not familiar with that particular dboys model (but if their m4s are anythig to go by it should be pretty solid internally and externally)

G&G=Decent for the price. G&G also=PLASTIC RAILS. Plastic rails=Ghey.

Go with the RDW. If you put in a new hop up unit, it functions better than before, and you can reach out and deliver a punishing touch. Also has great external quality (Included magazines suck)

I personally like my ARES I've been playing with for a while. Holding up very well at 25-28rps @ 350fps. Only had to replace the piston head and spring so far

My belief is that the best and most solid bang for your buck would be the G&G M4. I wish I had been that sensible, instead of buying expensive AEGs..

Although not in stock at AONW now, that gun is $140 with a free battery, and comes in black or tan. The construction is a durable plastic, but I've heard marvels about the internals in juxtaposition to their dirt pricing. For another $30 you can have yourself a pneumatic electric blowback variant that is loud and rather intimidating, if that's your thing..
