The Umarex G36 uses mostly TM spec parts, although the piston (and possibly the cylinder) are proprietary.
The gearbox shell is also proprietary, but could be swapped out for a standard TM one with a little modification. (although, you would have to either disable the ebb or cut a slot in the top of the new gearbox for the mechanical blow-back to work).
ARES's guns also use a digital switch (instead of normal contacts), which is superior to most contacts used by other tm spec guns.
