not firing

Postby UnHoly8807 » Mon Mar 28, 2011 7:47 pm

so i played at the rtl op on saturday and my m4 worked great. havent shot it since but today i pulled it up to clean it but thought i would empty the clip first. i pulled the trigger and it shot but on the second pull i got nothing... im not sure if the trigger feels different or if its just in my head.

I used a test light to find power was provided everywhere but to the motor, or the hot wire that gose from the trigger to the motor i should say. so i took the gearbox apart and the contacts looked fine. i tested it with the light agian and had power everywhere. put it back togeather and got one shot off and it stopped agian.

any idea what i might look for? ide like to avoid the wait time on taking it in to get it fixed.

it is a kwa sr10 by the way. i think i gynxed it by saying it never caused me a problem.

It happens to Echo1 rifles a lot, if it feels weird...
Check wires, around the battery connectors.

Factory Defect? I'd wait until some of the more experienced techs reply before making a final action (Jester316, etc.). I'm just giving my thoughts based on 4 years of limited experience (that's nothing to what some of these guys have).

KWA's have huge trigger posts because their Gen 1's broke them left and right so I doubt that's the problem. Is it under warranty still?

Maybe a wire Pinch.

You said you are getting Live current when its apart? And when you put it back together in the rifle it stops? Thats sounds like a wire pinch..

Check the wire's connections, this sounds like user error. You're most likely pinching a wire, like Pickles said. Oh, and learn to spell, for shazaam's sake.

Sounds exactly like a broken trigger post. 1 shot than nothing. Since you know how to take it apart, I'd do so again and look at the spot just behind the trigger contacts. There should be a post there (or a space where one should be).

If you look back you will see I said resetting the trigger I can get power. Which only last one round. I am a electro mchanical assembler and I can tell you the wires are fine.

And yeah with me and my phone togeather my spelling is horribal..but that's not the point of the thead. Just answer the question or keep your mouh shut. Don't need to try to be mr. Tough guy on the interenet.

Thanks jester I hope you are wrong but I dour it.
