I'd be very very carefull about using too much lube. For EXTERNAL METAL ONLY, (I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH) a small amount of CLP or breakfree rubbed on with a cloth for a very light coat can prevent rusting, it's the same as a real firearm. HOWEVER!!! Should some of that stuff even come close to your internals, kiss your weapon goodbye, there's even a stickied thread about it.
As far as lubricating your internals, don't worry about spraying silicon on every little piece. I suggest Shin Etsu grease, apply a light coat to your gears, their teeth, your piston, piston head, inside of the cylinder. Keep away from your trigger and switch. Also, a bit on your pinyon gear will be benificial. Use silicon spray before play, shoot a good amount, not the whol can, just a few short bursts down the barrel. Dry fire your weapon a few times, and blast away. Your first few shots might be squirly but believe me, it makes a big difference.
A good friend of mine once told me a story about anal sex. I'll save you that horror story, but what I can say of that story is this: bad things happen to good people who use too much lube.
"What do you want for Christmas Little boy?"
"A RANGER TAB MOTHERF**KER!"
