MP5 semi auto trouble

Postby Falcon7 » Fri Jul 08, 2011 5:11 pm

Got a JG mp5 from ASGIs latest mystery box. Tested it out and it worked fine, but after a while it wouldn't fire on semi (go figure). When I pulled the trigger it felt like the gears were turning and hitting the piston, but not able to pull it back at all. After a few bursts in full auto it started working again in semi. What's causing this? Should I worry about it?

I didn't have quite the same issue but my selector plate had gotten so worn down that the trigger could be pulled and it would slide out of safety and fire.
When I replaced the selector plate it would only fire full auto but after a bit of use now it functions properly in both semi and full auto.
Kick me. I go "Moooooooo!!!!!"

I doubt it's worn down by now...but it could be the selector plate. I won't open it up and mess with it unless I have any more trouble with it I guess.
