VFC SCAR, magazine comparability info and opinions wanted

I am contemplating the purchase of a VFC SCAR L and I want to know if it is compatible with other mfg's mags like CA , TM etc. If you have owned or used one please states your opinions as to quality,quirks, reliability etc.... All others , please do not waste your valuable time responding. Thanks, DJ

What about the VFC SCAR H? I kinda want one, and do I have to buy the VFC mags, or can I use MAG mids?

i have a vfc scar L and it is 100% compatible as far as my experience

i run a vfc scar DJ. i have real sword, Mag, and pmags they all work well. i run 11.1 lipos and its is flawless. i love it.

No. Every SCAR-H except the VFC and Dboys use SR-25 mags, so they are not compatible. People are hoping that Dboys make midcap mags for their SCAR-H that you can use in the VFCs.


The ARES ones use their weird mags that only work with their M14s too.

The VFC mids are great, just a bit on the spendy side.

I think the PTS 20LR Pmags work in them. They work in my A&K Sr-25. +10 to sexy too
