M14 EBR: CA or G&G?

A buddy is thinking of getting one, but we're unsure which is "better."

So anybody that's half educated on some differences between the two, please chat it up.

Disregard the variations in barrel length between the short and long models as a determining factor.

A little bird told me that the CA is an EXACT replica of the TM, but that isn't in any case a downfall. The G&G, being G&G might have some proprietary parts... (But it does have ball bearing bushings!)

Only solid fact I know is that the front sights don't come fastened to the gun that well, so you wanna tighten the screws or use some glue to keep the thing on.

I've used the G&G, and it was a beauty. G&G rifles are of the highest quality. Go with the G&G.

That little bird is a dumbass then, because it's not a TM clone. It's the same design as the G&G, and other CA M14s internally.

The G&G is far superior to the CA internally, and externally.

I prefer the G&G. It's put together tightly, it shoots extremely well out of the box.

I had a g&g m14 and it was awesome. I have no complaints about G&G.

Love my G&G M14, its a solid performer.

I've played with a CA M14 as well, no complaints but the stock was very shiny.

G&G all the way. the CA's aren't bad, but the G&G is just a better gun for a negligible (at that level anyways) difference in price.

the CA is a near-clone of the G&G, there aren't a ton of major differences. the main one i can think of off the top of my head is that the door to the battery compartment is smaller on the CA guns, but that's on the normal stock. unsure about the EBR stock.
