I caught a glimps of the manual of this gun, and it appears that you can remove the scope. I would like to confirm whether or not this is true. A friend of mine might get this gun, and I don't want him to waste 400 bucks on something that isn't true.

IIRC, All that needs to be removed is the entire outer barrel along with the scope or something.

Searched F2000 Hunter Scope Removal. This review came up. Partway down, there's a picture of the scope without it's cover. Looks like a hex wrench will pull it off, and leave you with picatinny rails.

The scope cover simply slides off with the push of a few buttons which reveals the actual aluminum scope attached to the rails. However, I would HIGHLY recommend NOT BUYING this gun. It's the most accurate gun on the field, but it has constant issues and needs to be babied like no other... Tell your friend to find another unique gun that catches his eye and go for that instead.
