What Do you guys think of this? Battery on G&G TGM PM5A4

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... s_id=10537 Its and MP5A5 but the hand guard is the battery, and its an 11.1 Lipo, and you get two!, it sounds pretty cool to me. Do you guys think it'd be possible to mod it to use regular batteries? wouldn't do it. I'm just curious :o

I'm going to assume you meant NiMh or NiCd batteries. I think it'd be possible, but you'd have to disassemble the handguard. My bet is that they just sealed a battery into the compartment- it'd probably mean some rewiring.

If you'd have clicked the link you could have read that.

Also it is possible, but complete nonsensical to rewire it for standard battery connectors. You'd have to replace the hand guards as well.

EDIT: Also why is this a thread?

I was responding to his question about "normal" batteries, not which kind of battery it uses. If you'd read his question you'd know that.
EDIT: In fact, if one were to with to put a NiMh battery inside that handguard, he would need to rewire the battery to the handguard. Again, if you'd read his post...

Just use the built in battery... You get two so you can swap it out as needed.

I think it is pretty cool, mp5s suck for batteries and this might solve it.
