vfc 416 broekn already?????

a couple days ago my vfc 416 afte less than 20k rounds and 3 months broke, i took hte recievers off and hte air nozzle doesnt move back and forth to load another bb, which if im correct is asoicated with the tappet plate? any thoughts if thats right or what i should do?

No. The tappet plate has nothing to do with the nozzle. The tappet plate is for the selector switch, as the tappet plate moves when the selector switch is moved, to put it to safe, semi, or full.

OP: So, you're saying your tappet plate is possibly broken without confirming that it is, and you're taking guesses? Just bring it to a tech or open it up through videos. If you're inexperienced, then maybe attempt to make it a learning experience or don't try.

1)Try to dry fire it with a 2 second burst on auto, and take a few shots with semi upper half of gearbox exposed. If the nozzle doesn't move forward, then back, then it's probably broken.

2) If you tried doing something earlier to it, and the nozzle only shakes back and fourth, you didn't even hook the tappet plate spring onto something, or the tappet plate/tappet late spring itself is broken in an area.

Also, bleeding learn to spell at least, waking up and deciphering hieroglyphics is annoying.

i did not open the gearbox

The nozzle does not move back and forth

I was led to believe the tappet plate was what caused the nozzle to move back and forth

Tappet plate move nozzle.

Selector plate is for selector.

If nozzle doesn't move, than your tappet plate may be upsidedown. Get it looked at by a professional.

Buahahaha, i love advise from people who have zero idea on what is what.


All the following is done with a tune:

The battery connects to the motor...
The motor connects to the gears....
The gears turn the piston.....
The sector gear pulls the tappet plate....
The tappet plate move the nozzle.....
The nozzle directs air to shoot your bb....

That's how your gun works



Not 100% on how it works, but that's the main deal. Your tappet plate does move back and forth, it is directly connect to your nozzle, if the tappet plate is broken, your nozzle wont move. But it isn't the only thing that can cause this, but can be the main culprit of it. Take it apart if your able, take it to a tech if your not. You have a nice enough gun that the money a tech would cost would be worth it.

I choose to type fast over spell correctly.

I do not know how it broke and i'm suprised it did, just shooting it in a match and the mag stopped feeding, reloaded, that mag didnt feed either, checked the gun out and tried some things and nothing worked, to bad i got upgraded barrel in it, otherwise i could send it in for warranty through Umarex USA

So some dipstick says the nozzle doesn't move in AEG's and all you guys can harp on is bad grammar? And tell me how the hell does spelling and grammar matter when taking apart an AEG? Is there a quiz during the process? Obviously you all got the point that is was broken.
