trying to remove RIS anchor

Postby Nark » Sun Aug 12, 2012 8:24 pm

So I'm attempting to fix the wobble in my outer barrel. It's a Madbull adjustable outer barrel. I found the 2 screws that stabilize the outer barrel but they're being covered by something I can only describe as the RIS anchor. How do I remove the "RIS anchor"?

That looks like the barrel nut for a Noveske/SWS style rail system. You can either buy the actual tool for it or just buy a strap wrench for a couple bucks and take it off.

turns out I could just twist it off and tighten the screws underneath. So no more barrel wobble! SUCCESS! :D
