Sorry if im being too stubborn, maybe I got unlucky with my d boys experience, im sure they're fine guns and would be good as a back up, I was trying to emphasize how good of an idea it would be to buy a CQR, hell or even a combat machine, but yes there are other good alternatives including d boys, I'm sorry

I have a buddy that has a Scar-L from Dboys that has performed wonders. It has the range of a G&G FN F2000, stings like crazy, has a great stock ROF, and has great accuracy. Not to mention it has ran for about two years no problem.I'd trust Dboys on their AEGs personally.

I know someone with a dboys scar l and its horrendous, I guess its just the luck of the draw when buying d boys, thats a chance I would not want to take.

I've seen top end guns fail straight out of the box. It's a luck of the draw with all airsoft guns.

yea but the luck of the draw with a KWA for example might be 1/100,000 with a dboys being 1/5,000. idk, But if a kwa failed on you, they have a warranty and excellent customer service

I guess I'll throw my .02 cents in..

I like ACM guns for backups due to price, relative reliability, easy to find replacement parts that are cheap(good luck replacing just 1 gear in your 2GX, not to mention the piston), and easy to find mag compatibility.

DISLIKE the way they're assembled internally(nothing a tech can't fix).

I like KWA for being OOTB good performers.. End.

I DISLIKE KWA 2GX for their proprietary gears, piston, shells, receivers, and hop-up chamber.
Bye.

I want to make this clear, this whole time I was talking about the best OTB performer, I didn't think the OP wanted to upgrade and rereshim a backup gun, I figured he just wanted a gun he would know would work good in case his primary failed him.

Buying an airsoft gun without the intention of having it re-greased/shimmed ever is like buying a car and never changing the oil.

These numbers something you just made up? Of course they are. Also most stores/companies have warranties. The day I take advice from a 14 year old know it all... Is the day I stab a fork into my eyes.

We're done here.
