New Starter Gun

Postby ShadowNinja » Sat Aug 25, 2012 3:40 pm

Right now I'm looking for a good starter gun and I found
DE R36C TacSpec Electric AEG Rifle w/ Flashlight and Red Dot Scope $44.95

http://airsoftmegastore.com/1319-DE-M85 ... Scope.aspx

Has anyone had this gun before, and loved it as a Starter Gun or Hated it.

Thanks,

that gun is for target shooting only, you will NOT be able to skirmish that gun,it has a plastic gearbox and plastic gears, its not for actually playing airsoft at all. If you want a decent AEG the absolute cheapest you can by is a Lancer Tactical for about 98 dollars or a Galaxy MP5K for 85 dollars, but it would be well worth worth it to save your money and get a better gun. also, you should order from evike cause there having a 20 percent off sale till the tenth of september

Get the Galaxy Mp5k like Riuk suggested, that gun lasted me 3 years without a single problem. Well, one jam, but thats nothing for taking a severe beating and tons of rounds.

I think I'm going to shell out some more cash for a more reliable gun:
AMS-SRC Stryke Series SR15 Commando Carbine Full Metal Gearbox AEG $116.95

Guns I believe would be good for a sub-$150 budget:
-Note, I am expecting you can find a 10-20% coupon and get free shipping.

JG M4s (certain ones at least)-iffy QC
JG G36C/K -Amazing track record it seems-Can't find much bad besides they tend to fall apart externally
DBoys Full metal M4/AKs(Aks have very high reps too)-Iffy QC
G&G Combat Machine-solid guns -not the best motors

Pop for ~$175, KWA's new CQBR Sportline, gearbox solid, metal upper, plastic lower, arguably best OOTB gun for under $200.
Bye.
bye

my first good airsoft gun was a JG S-system and it was awesome. i would hold my own with all the higher upgraded guns at my field. and for $145 its not a bad deal either.
