KWA Support = Excellent

Postby AndyC » Mon Nov 19, 2012 1:57 pm

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this issue but, I just purchased a Mod 2 and it was delivered with three cracks in the plastic lower receiver. I called the shop I purchased it from and they denied responsibility and claimed it was from shipping and I needed to contact KWA. Well, I did just that. I called KWA support in socal and actually spoke to a human. They asked what was up, I told them about the cracked lower, they asked for pics which I sent and about 10min later, a guy from KWA support called me back and after examining the pics said it looked like a manufacture defect that QC might have missed but the shop should have caught and didn't. Anyway, this guy was great, not only did he send me a replacement lower, for the troubles, he sent me a complete laser-etched metal lower at no cost to me and even tossed in a few KWA patches ands stickers. I'm sold on KWA now. Best customer support EVER.

I love how I can call the KWA Pro Shop or Tech Support to order parts straight out of a parts diagram in the users manual.
I do hope that after all this discreditable shuffling we may be taken into action. It has a wonderful way of reconciling a man with himself: and with everybody else, sometimes. - 1st Lt. James Dillon

You can do that? This was not mentioned. That's better than having to dig through a retailers parts pages hoping you find the part you need.

Understandable. I got the shaft from King Arms when calling warranty on a faulty charging handle during the valid warranty period. Cost me near $30 by the time it was over.

Yeah KWA is excellent with their customer support, you can even join in on the KWA forum where a lot of KWA guys post pretty frequently.

I love that when my blow back chamber in my P226 blew up the first time, I was told it was due to user error. Than when it blew the second time, it was again due to user error. Than when the feed lips broke on the magazine, it was user error. Than when the replacement feed lips broke, it was... you guessed it... user error. Oh, and I loved how non of the techs there could give me a straight answer about whether a part had been redesigned and if I would get the "new redesigned one".

f**k KWA in the neck with a rusty trombone.

This.

My KWA P226 has never worked. Its been through their 'help desk' more times than I can count. (or not, I think the last time I attempted to get it fixed was #4).

On the flip side my KWA M9 has been bashed, dropped, never cleaned and never lubricated and it still fires without a hitch. The one time it did break from a hard fall, they fixed it for pretty cheap (don't remember exactly what it cost me, but under the $30 mark). It was pretty quick service too.

It seems as though KWA is a really hit and miss company. Is the product quality worth it?

Every company has their horror stories. If every guy that had a good KWA product was posting, this'd be too long to read. *shrug* I like mine.
