g&g feeding issue

I hate to say it, but I need help, and not the white lab coat kind either. I am currently working on a G&G top tech m4. It came in with a misfire/jamming issue and also was requested that I look into removing the blowback feature....

every thing was dandy, blow back has been removed from said gun, but i'm at my wits end trying to solve the feed issue. it is not jamming, just refusing to feed for the first 10 shots or so. once it starts feeding, it runs fine. the gun also has had a 6.01mm tighbore installed and angel custom bucking. What i have tried so far includes swapping nozzles, swapping barrels, swapping buckings, double and tripple checking alignment of hop up unit to gearbox, double checked the spring off the front of the hop up chamber, and swap mags just incase that was the issue. Also, when it decides to fire, it chrono's at 410 fps. And to delete the blow back setup we just opted for a basic v2 cylinder and head with teflon mod to bypass said system. Any sugestions or maybe something i have over looked?

have you tried shooting it without the two receivers put back together? to make sure the nozzle is always moving back n forth when its fired.

have you tried pushing up on the mags or moving their alignment while in the magwell to see if the feeding improves?

Try putting a thing shim washer on the back of the hopup where it connects to the gearbox. Some hopup units come with them and makes a world of difference.

Also could be a worn tappet plate, or just needs a sector clip installed.

I did double check the nozzle and tappet. Gun is brand new (minus about 1000 rounds or so) so tappet is imaculate, wiggled the mags too and no change. May try the shim attempt next. any other experience would be greatly appreciated. just seems like the gun wants to "warm up" before unleashing plastic death

I'm having a similar problem with my GR16 A4... I have to pull the mag back in the magwell towards me to get it to feed. Is there any way to adjust the way the mag sits? It's extremely loose in mine. I also have a 6.01 tbb and a Mad Bull hop up system.

Throw layers of electrical tape or sticky back velcro into your magwell.

I had to do that for my combat machine body, except it was pushing the mag away from me.

Up here in Canada we see this problem a lot on G&G's. There are three fixes that have been found by my self and others. The first is the aforementioned electrical tape. The second is MAG brand mags, for some reason they work 100% of the time for us with no feeding issues. The third being the aforementioned shim fix. Hope this helps.

So I fiddled around with it a bit today. I've gotten very close to aligning the mag up correctly by putting a washer on the actual metal receiver itself between it and the mag. It still needs an upward force backward to feed though... I'm still working though.
