VFC 417, or VFC SCAR H???

Postby Shortbu » Thu Apr 02, 2015 10:03 pm

Ok, so anybody that knows me, knows I need another AEG, like I need a hole in the head, but...lol.
My first AEG was an AGM scar, and it was great, then it was stolen. Then my son traded a gun for one, and after I held it, I really started missing my old scar. Then I started looking at the 417, and started thinking, damn that's sexy. Now I'm stuck with 3 options.
1) buy the scar
2) buy the 417
3) not be retarded and keep my money. (We all know, that's probably not gonna happen, lol. I'm not good at not being retarded)
So, I was wondering what y'all's thoughts were on the VFC SCAR H vs VFC 417???

417s are hot, but the gear box is a bit funky and the mags are bleeding HUGE.

SCAR-H is a bit less hot with a slightly less annoying GB and smaller mags.

They both have their ups and downs. I'd get the 417, but that's cause I never had one :P

If you want save some cash I have a black Vfc scar h I don't need because I have a tan one as well. Pm me if you want details.

They are both sexy. Really can't go wrong with either choice.

Hmmmmmmm.
Option # 4: buy Mindspeeds SCAR H, and buy a new VFC 417. Now a new question: 417 GBB, or AEG?????

Lol. The 417 mags are huge, but I kinda see that as a plus with the way I tend to shoot. 500 rd mags????YES!!! :)
Plus the things give me much chub. If Mindspeed doesn't think his is made of gold, I may see two new gats in my future...

Now to just get my DMR back from being built, lol.

I mean huge in size. I don't think the hicaps hold much.

VFC GBBRs are sadly disappointing. I've never heard anything good about them without tons of upgrades. God knows I'd love their GBB MP5SD...

I knew what you meant by "huge" but the hi-caps hold 500 rds., and you know me, I have tendency to use everything like a saw, lol.
