Which Color for Fn2000?

Postby TheFerrariKid137 » Tue Dec 20, 2011 11:16 pm

Howdy Guys, so I might be getting a Fn2000 for Christmas, and I'm deciding on which color i want. I like the Tan Version cause it shows off all the lines to the gun, but the Black Version seems like it would be better for most camo blends.

I mainly wear woodland, with a black vest, a full black mask, and black gloves. and by adding in tan I'm not sure if it would break up my color scheme and blend me in more or make me stick out like a sore thumb. Also was thinking about later on going for a desert look, and thought the tan one would work well there as. I worry about the tan one because though may it look cool, it may or may not blend in with me.

Black would blend in with my camo but because of the size of it i think I'd be too much black, and again stick out... I have a black m4 that goes great, because it's low profile. and if i ever do a urban environment, i think the black one would be the best option for it too

I just need some in put on what other people think/ what i should do and go with.

What's the deal with the G&G F2000? Seems to have a bad rep here...

I would honestly just go with black, that way, if it doesn't fit your "style" later on you can just paint it to the EXACT shade of tan that you want.

Darn... I was hoping to buy one within the next year, guess I'll get something else. The only problems I've heard about are the mag compatibility and some part on the gearbox shell that needs to be sharpened. (Those seem like easy fixes.)

Do some research and find reviews for yourself instead of moving on to something else just because someone said it's a POS without giving any reasons why

edit: heres a nice little review http://www.wiairsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?9997-G2010-%28G-amp-G-F2000%29-Review

Personal experience tells me to tell you that it is anything but a POS.

To answer your question, being that you are in the Pacific Northwest I would recommend black, as tan would clash a little more with woodland gear and "matches" less with any other kit.

No, that is the Both Elephant AUG!

All of the reviews online show that it is a damn good replica, but there is a little rumor that spread around here stating that it sucks big time. I've heard it on numerous accounts which kind of makes me second guess whether or not to get it... :?

Rumor without reason or evidence of it sucking big time, in my experience, is usually human error.

Rumor of things sucking big time, in my experience, quite often come from people who have no experience using said things whatsoever and therefore have no backing to their claims.
