Broken motor carriage replacement

hey guys, while working on my Mp5 the motor carriage snapped off. I just put some epoxy on it but I doubt it will work considering how much pressure it has to have. I've looked around on the web but I can't seem to find a suitable replacement. The Mp5 is a Classic Army with a type 2 gearbox. Does anyone know were I could get a new one? Thanks

Sorry, should of clarified. I mean the part that screws onto the gearbox that holds the motor in. It snapped clean off when I was pulling out the gearbox from the body.

Cloudyrains, is that an MP5k? I've never seen a standard size MP5 with one, but MP5ks usually use V3 gearboxes.. Maybe the CA is different.

Its an Mp5 with a V2.

That is the V2.5, as those unfortunate to work on it have called it. Basically a V2 with a motor cage. Those are usually found in the older Chinese MP5s, are you sure you've got a CA?

Would explain why I have had a hell of a time working on the gun. I got it off the classifieds for 30$, just needed to be rewired which I already did. The guy said it was this: http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERA-CA-MP5A2.htm and I have every right to believe him on that.

Actually most people refer to SR25 gearboxes as V2.5s.

I haven't worked on as many guns as some of the techs here, but I've never seen a CA Mp5 that had a motor cage...

And for $30 for a gun that needs new wiring, I would be very hesitant to say it's a CA.

Well the stock wiring was ok, it's just the kid who previously owned it tore it up and did a horrible solder job removing the fuse and attaching deans. It's definitely an older gun so I would imagine its possible that it is a first/second generation line.
