They made an adapter for the SL8 so cheap bastards could use their AR mags without spending a small child on the "G36" mags.

On the subject of mag pouchs, I've found the mayflower, TT, and Condor (though I don't recommend them) .308/7.62 shingles hold them great. The same goes for the TT double 7.62 pouches. And thats with the clips on.

Can someone put a link up of these pouches you keep talking about? every pouch i find that is opene topped says m4/m16 mags, drivin me crazy...

Every pouch everywhere is advertised for the most common type of mag used in them. I doubt you will find an open-top mag pouch that fits a G36 mag, but here are the pouches I used for mine. They hold 2 clipped together perfectly. http://www.rangerjoes.com/spec-ops-mag- ... -1400.html

Even if it says M4 M16 mags you can use AK47 or pretty much any other mag in them except for P90 mags. If they have the spacers in them just cut them out with a razor knife and your G36 mags will fit just fine.

249 box pouches work as well. They can carry 4 per pouch so if you put one on each hip it keeps your torso clear for other things.

Look closely, though. The H&K G36 mag-well gets replaced by this product. It's not an adapter that slides into the mag-well.

No, it is not. The M4 mag adaptor for the G36 replaces the standard magwell. HK designed the magwell of the G36 series (including the SL8) to be removable just for the purpose of being able to do this. The airsoft version is an accurate copy of this function of the G36 series to swap out magwells.
