I've just had better results with the Firefly design compared to a normal bucking with H/SCS nubs.
You're argument does sound reasonable though, but you need some proof, not just an opinion.
I could say the same about what you said.
Okay... well I did say that they shoot the same, I didn't say I think they shoot the same, but just to make you happy - here you go.
Range: 100 feet
Ammo: Bio-Shot .28g (Not the best, but what I had on hand)
Weather: Clear, sunny, slight cross-wind
AEG: Custom M4A1 - Details in my profile, but what you need to know: Promy 407mm TBB, KWA 2GX bucking
ROF: 20 RPS
FPS: 395+/-1 FPS
Shooting Position: Sitting with mono-pod. Again, not ideal, but it was what I had on hand at the time.
Semi - All but 2 shots hit:
Auto - All but 3 shots hit:
Since I wasn't using the best BB's and there was a slight cross-wind part of the time, there was some variation shot to shot (as seen in the pictures), but for a skirmish, that placement is quite adequate. Yes, this is a very crude test, but I think it gets my point across that the 2GX will work the same on both semi and auto.
